A network of verified Himalayan operators, not a travel agency.

Everest Sherpa curates and vets the guides and operators behind every climb and trek we show you. We don't mark up a booking or add a layer of cost — we do the research so you can compare real options with confidence, instead of picking blind off a search results page.

Why verification matters here

The Himalayan guiding and trekking market is crowded, and most marketing looks identical from the outside. A operator's website rarely tells you their real guide ratio, summit success rate, or safety record. We built Everest Sherpa to close that gap: every listing carries a verification tier so you know exactly how much to trust it, and you deal directly with the operator once you're ready — there's no markup from us sitting between you and their price.

How verification works

Every operator and guide shown on Expedition Match or the Trek Planner falls into one of three tiers, shown as a badge on each listing:

Sourced Verified Sponsored

Sourced listings are built from publicly available pricing and reputation data for established operators, shown so you can compare realistically — we don't yet have a direct relationship with these operators. Verified listings are operators we've vetted directly and who are eligible to receive leads through us. Sponsored listings are operators who've chosen a paid placement, shown with direct contact details so you can connect with zero steps in between.

Why some names are withheld

You'll notice that even verified, trusted partners aren't always named outright on our tools. That's deliberate. The Himalayan guiding market is small, and operators who work with us can be targeted or undercut by competitors if we publicize exactly who sends them leads and at what volume. Withholding names protects our partners, not our credibility — the badge system exists specifically so you can trust a listing without needing the name attached to it.

If you want to know who you'd actually be booking with before committing to anything, we'll tell you directly once you request a quote — the anonymity is for public listings, not for your actual decision.
